Why is Simon so Excited?

K2 Template Manager is a brand new collaboration between US Joomla Pros and K2Joom, coded by USJP based on a concept from Simon.

The function of the component is to check both K2 component and Joomla template locations to find any K2 templates that might be installed on the server and display them in a list in the backend.

In addition to displaying a list of K2 Templates, the component will also allow for the files in the template to be edited in the Joomla backend.  No more opening up ftp clients or html/php editors, but of course you still can if you wish.

Not only can you edit the K2 template php files, if you use the CSS4K2 plugin from Jiliko.net which allows custom versions of k2.css to be saved and loaded in the K2 template, then you can also edit those too.

But wait, there is more!!

You can even upload K2 Templates, without having to know where to put them, it does it automatically for you.
Say you purchase one of our K2 Templates, all you then have to do is download your template file from us then use K2 Template Manager, upload the template zip file and its installed for you.  All thats left to do, is assign the K2 template within the K2 Category parameters.

It really is that simple.

It really is going to save you time in terms of K2 template installation, modification and management.
Even if your new to Joomla, K2 or Joomla template over rides it doen't matter now, this is removing a potential headache for it.
